Questions about this job
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Usually, if it is attached to the house, more than 30 inches off the ground, or over 200 square feet. We pull it and pass the fee through at cost.
How long does a deck take?
Most decks take one to two weeks on site once materials are in. Permits and HOA approval can add time before we start.
Can you rebuild on my old frame?
If the joists, beams, ledger and footings are sound and to code, a re-deck saves money. We check on the walk and tell you straight.
Every price and option is in our deck cost guide. We work in Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor, Loveland, Greeley, Wellington, Berthoud and Longmont, and across Northern Colorado.

FAQ
Things You Should Know
Straight answers on where we work, the deposit, the warranty, and what we take.
What jobs do you take?
Decks, baths, basements, garages, framing, trim, siding, windows and doors, paint, fences, pergolas, sheds, LVP floors and the handyman list. One crew for all of it, or package the job into one bid.
How does the estimate work?
Three minutes online gets a range built from our real rates. Then a site walk, then a firm bid. Nothing locks until we have seen the job.
Who shows up?
Jason and Travis. Two owners on every walk and every build, no rotating subs running your project. Licensed and insured, CL5203.
What does it take to schedule?
Approve the bid and put down the deposit written into it, and your slot on the calendar is held. The deposit depends on the job; the rest draws as the work completes.
Is there a warranty?
One year on workmanship, in writing. Manufacturer warranties pass straight through.
Is any job too small?
Not usually. A TV mount, a sticking door, a few deck boards or a full rebuild, we will take a look. Licensed electrical, plumbing and HVAC go to licensed pros, priced up front.
